Joint Venture With A Singapore Business Partner

Joint venture with a Singapore business partner to open a quick service restaurant outlet; One in Orchard Road (Singapore) and another one in Johor Bahru (Johor, Malaysia).

1987

The Establishment of Winner’s Fried Chicken Sdn Bhd

Winner’s Fried Chicken Sdn Bhd was established to promote the brand and business. The first office was located inside a shop lot within the town area in Jalan Kampar, Ipoh, Perak. The fried chicken flour was also manufactured and distributed in this premise.

1986

The First Fried Chicken Stall

First fried chicken stall started and operated by the founder located inside a restaurant in Kampung Simee, Ipoh, Perak. Gained good-word-of-mouth and began licensing out the brand to a few stalls mostly located around Ipoh after only a few months. Flour was still homemade and packed in small scale.
